ICCI and India Design ID (Ogaan Media) Sign Strategic MoU to Strengthen India–Italy Design Exchange

The Indian Chamber of Commerce in Italy (ICCI) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with India Design ID, the leading platform of Ogaan Media dedicated to architecture, design and creative industries in India. The agreement marks the beginning of a structured collaboration aimed at strengthening bilateral exchange between the Indian and Italian design ecosystems.

The partnership will focus on the organization of high-level events in Italy to support the internationalisation and visibility of Indian designers, architects and creative brands within the Italian and broader European market. At the same time, it will actively promote the participation of Italian design companies, studios and professionals at India Design Week in Mumbai and Delhi, creating new platforms for exposure, networking and business development.

Ogaan Media is an Indian media and events company specialising in luxury lifestyle, fashion, architecture and design. It is best known for publishing leading titles such as Elle Decor India and for curating India Design ID, one of the country’s most influential platforms for architecture and interior design. Through its editorial and event ecosystem, Ogaan Media plays a key role in connecting creative communities, brands and professionals across India’s design and luxury sectors.

Through this MoU, both organizations aim to build a long-term cultural and commercial bridge between India and Italy, fostering dialogue, collaboration and market access across the design and architecture sectors. The initiative reflects the growing convergence between the two countries in terms of craftsmanship, innovation and lifestyle industries.

This partnership positions ICCI and India Design ID as key enablers of cross-border creative exchange, supporting the international growth strategies of design stakeholders in both markets. It marks an opportunity for Italian design and furniture companies to gain visibility in India.
