ICCI Presents India Market Opportunities at GA Milan Event

April 22nd, 2026 Milan. At the GA offices in Milan, a high-level meeting titled “Unlocking the Indian Market” was hosted on the occasion of the visit of Satinder Kapoor, Founding Partner of SKAA Law Firm based in Delhi, India, bringing together key institutional and business stakeholders to discuss India–Italy economic relations. The event was further distinguished by the participation of the Consul General of India in Milan, reinforcing the institutional relevance of the dialogue.

During the session, Secretary General Luciano Pettoello Mantovani of the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Italy (ICCI) presented a detailed overview of the opportunities emerging from the Indian market, with a particular focus on its sustained economic growth and the strong consumption-driven expansion across multiple sectors. He highlighted India’s evolving role as one of the most dynamic global markets, driven by a growing middle class, rapid urbanisation, and increasing demand for quality products and services.

Luciano also shared concrete business cases of Italian companies that have successfully invested and expanded in India, illustrating both the potential and the strategic pathways available for market entry. These examples underscored the importance of long-term positioning, local partnerships, and adaptation to India’s diverse regulatory and commercial landscape.

The event served as a valuable platform for exchange between legal, diplomatic and business communities, further strengthening the bridge between Italy and India and reinforcing ICCI’s role in supporting companies in their internationalisation journey.
