ICCI Facilitates a Meeting Between the SICCI Delegation and UCIMU to Advance Industrial Cooperation Between India and Italy
The meeting focused on manufacturing technologies, innovation, and opportunities for closer collaboration between Southern India and Italy’s industrial ecosystem.
On September 15, 2026, the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Italy (ICCI) accompanied a delegation from the Southern India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) to UCIMU – SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, the association representing Italian manufacturers of machine tools, robots, and automation systems.
The visit was part of the delegation’s program of industrial and institutional exchanges, following the business meeting held the previous day at the Consulate General of India in Milan. It provided a dedicated forum for fostering dialogue on manufacturing and exploring shared interests between the Indian and Italian industrial communities.
Representing companies and stakeholders from the automotive and mechanical sectors, the SICCI delegation held discussions with UCIMU on the Italian manufacturing sector, advanced technologies, and the role of innovation in strengthening industrial competitiveness. The discussions provided an opportunity to identify areas of common interest and explore potential avenues for future industrial and business cooperation between Italy and Southern India.
By facilitating the meeting, ICCI supported direct engagement between the visiting delegation and a key representative of Italy’s manufacturing industry. The exchange helped build relationships that can foster ongoing dialogue and the development of future joint initiatives.
ICCI extends its sincere thanks to UCIMU for welcoming the delegation and for the constructive discussion. The Chamber looks forward to supporting further exchanges between SICCI and the Italian industrial ecosystem as part of its commitment to strengthening bilateral economic relations.
