Strengthening Strategic Synergies Between ICCI and Air India

On May 12, the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Italy was pleased to welcome a distinguished delegation from Air India to the ICCI headquarters in Milan for a productive meeting focused on strengthening collaboration and exploring new opportunities to support the growing India–Italy business corridor.

The Air India delegation included:

  • Loriana Lorenzetti – Air India, Italy (Sales Manager)
  • Rahul Bhongade – Air India, (Country Manager)
  • Pankaj Tiwari – Air India (Southern Europe Manager)
  • Sumeet Gosain – Air India (Global Commercial Manager)

The meeting provided an important opportunity to discuss potential areas of cooperation between ICCI and Air India, with a particular focus on supporting business delegations, institutional missions, networking events, and initiatives aimed at enhancing connectivity between Italy and India.

Among the topics discussed were the development of tailored travel solutions and special offers for ICCI members, as well as potential collaboration on trade delegations, business mobility, and high-level institutional and corporate events organized by the Chamber and its partners.

As economic, commercial, and institutional ties between Italy and India continue to grow, improved air connectivity plays a key role in facilitating trade, investment flows, tourism, and broader people-to-people exchanges.

ICCI is proud to count Air India among its valued members and strategic partners and looks forward to developing concrete initiatives together in the coming months to further strengthen the India–Italy business corridor.
