India and Asia in Focus: ICCI Hosts “Far East: Business Hub – Opportunities, Key Sectors, and Strategies”

The event brought together market specialists, legal professionals, and business leaders to explore opportunities and practical approaches to expanding into Asian markets.

On July 1, 2026, the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Italy (ICCI) hosted “Far East: Business Hub – Opportunities, Key Sectors, and Strategies” at its offices, in collaboration with Morri Rossetti & Franzosi and CLUB ASIA, the network of bilateral chambers of commerce that supports Italian companies in their internationalization projects across Asia.

With a particular focus on India and China, the discussion explored high-growth sectors, opportunities arising from international trade agreements, and strategies for entering and expanding business operations in these markets. By combining market insights, legal expertise, and firsthand corporate experience, the event offered participants complementary perspectives on the opportunities and challenges facing Italian businesses in Asia.

Moderated by Roberto Zoppi, Vice President of CLUB ASIA, the discussion featured remarks by Marina Vienna, Vice President of ICCI, and Luciano Pettoello Mantovani, Secretary General of ICCI, who shared their insights on the Indian market and the opportunities it offers Italian companies.

Federica Santonocito, Partner and Head of Intellectual Property at Morri Rossetti & Franzosi, and Giulia Romanelli, IP Lawyer and Head of the China Desk at the firm, contributed an in-depth analysis of the Chinese market, offering a legal and intellectual property perspective on the discussion.

The program also featured practical business insights from Pietro Aldeghi, General Manager for India and North America at CIMA Group, and Federico Ferazzutti, Global Sales Manager at PMP Industries Group. Their contributions linked the broader market discussion to the realities of implementing internationalization projects and establishing an overseas business presence.

The event reaffirmed the value of dialogue between companies, professional advisors, and bilateral Chambers of Commerce in helping Italian businesses navigate Asian markets and develop well-informed international growth strategies.

ICCI extends its sincere thanks to all speakers and participants, to Morri Rossetti & Franzosi for its valuable collaboration, and to CLUB ASIA for its support in strengthening business dialogue and economic relations between Italy and Asia.
