The Indian Chamber of Commerce in Italy appoints Marco Bettin as Vice President

March 30th 2026, Milan – The Indian Chamber of Commerce in Italy (ICCI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Marco Bettin as Vice President.

This strategic appointment comes at a time of strong acceleration in Italy–India economic relations — marked by the recent signing of the EU–India Free Trade Agreement, the consolidation of the bilateral strategic partnership, and the new opportunities emerging from the IMEC corridor, which further strengthens Italy’s role as a key European logistics and industrial hub connecting with India.

Marco Bettin brings over twenty years of international experience in economic diplomacy and global market development. Having previously served as Director General of the Italy China Council Foundation and Secretary General of the Italy–China Chamber of Commerce, he has led complex internationalisation processes and built high-level institutional and business networks across Europe and Asia. He is currently also the President of ClubAsia, the federation of Asian chambers of commerce in Italy.

Within ICCI, he will focus on four strategic priorities:

• Strengthening high-value commercial partnerships between Italy and India
• Enhancing institutional dialogue and business intelligence services for members
• Attracting sustainable investments and fostering innovation-driven industrial cooperation
• Representing ICCI in key international forums and sector publications

With this new leadership reinforcement, ICCI continues to position itself as a leading institutional platform for companies seeking structured access, strategic insight, and long-term growth between two of the world’s most dynamic economies.
