ICCI at MAECI Obiettivo Export Turin Event: Strengthening Italian Export Pathways to India

On 29 April 2026 in Turin, the MAECI event “Obiettivo Export: Imprese e Territori del Nord Italia” brought together institutions, agencies of the Sistema Italia and the business community to strengthen the internationalisation of Italian companies. The initiative, opened by Minister Antonio Tajani, focused on export strategies and the role of public instruments supporting Made in Italy in global markets, with particular emphasis on growth opportunities abroad.

Within this framework, Vice President Marco Bettin and Secretary General Luciano Pettoello Mantovani of the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Italy (ICCI) participated actively in the discussions, reinforcing the Chamber’s role in supporting Italian companies in their expansion strategies. During the event, India emerged as a key market in Minister Tajani’s intervention and in several speakers’ remarks, highlighted as one of the most dynamic destinations for Italian exports and investment.

ICCI’s presence further confirmed its mission to facilitate structured access to the Indian market, providing companies with insights, networks and operational support for internationalisation. The participation also underlined ICCI’s role within the broader Sistema Italia ecosystem, contributing to a coordinated national effort to strengthen Italy’s global economic footprint, with India positioned as a strategic priority market for future growth.
